It all begins with an idea.

This is not a commercial site. This private site was created to give exposure to a concept that can provide all Americans with access to affordable, quality healthcare.

A program, limited to federal employees, was established in 1960. It has provided federal employees access to excellent healthcare for 60 years. It is a time-tested model that should be used for a national healthcare system.

As a federal employee, I never worried about healthcare coverage. Every year, I could choose from many different plans with no worry about preexisting conditions. My children were able to stay on my plan until they finished college. I lived in four different States. When I needed them, I had access to some of the best doctors in the country. After retirement in 1997, I started and operated two different small business for 20 more years. I am now fully retired. Over that entire time span, I was a member in the same federal health insurance program.

The obvious question is “why can’t everyone have access to my insurance program?” Well, maybe they can? I believe it could happen almost immediately if Congress were to make the federal insurance program an option to other private plans. This is a plan to make that happen.

The COVID pandemic has made the lack of affordable insurance critical for too many Americans. The solution is legislatively simple. The white paper describes how to create a “public option” with no additional cost to the taxpayers.
